Horrible service

I ordered flowers for a friend on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.. when I when to the website it direct me into next day delivery options.. I filled out all the information and picked what I wanted to send. I proceeded to check out and paid for my items. The next day ( day of delivery) I get a phone call from 1800 flowers telling me that they don’t deliver to my recipients address. ( why didn’t your website let me know this )After being on hold for over 20 min I am then told that they found a shop that will deliver. At 8pm the same day I call my recipient to see if she received the flower she said nothing had been delivered. I immediately called 1800 flowers and once again placed on hold foe an additional 30min. The Superviser finally got on the phone and proceeded to tell me that they were delivered via FedEx the following day or she would give me my money back with a 20% coupon for my next order .. I’m extremely disappointed in the way one 800 flowers handled this situation I never received a phone calls to state that they could not deliver flowers as they said they would when I called at 1 PM if it wasn’t been that I called them they at 8:15 pm I would haves never known that they decided that delivering flowers the next day would be ok …
This is the second time similar situation has taken place. I will no longer use there service and I would be carful if you do ….

Absolute WORST!

Absolute WORST!
I had placed an order of 100 red roses with 800 flowers as a surprise 16th anniversary gift for my wife since we couldn’t do our normal special dinner date and my wife had been hinting that she wished one day someone would get her 100 roses. I ordered them over the phone 10 days in adavance with a 800 flowers rep and paid for them on the call. The day of, they hadn’t arrived by noon so at 1pm I called to make sure everything was ok, they assured me they would be coming later that day. By 5pm they still hadn’t arrived and I had to sneak away during our anniversary diner to call and follow up. I had to be referred to a customer rep manager to be told that they had canceled my order days ago bacause they thought it was fraudulent!!! I was incensed! I tried as calmly as I could without shouting or swearing (both of which I very much wanted to do) to explain this was THEE anniversary gift for my wife and they had to make it right. They said sorry but there was nothing they could do that late in the day. So I had to go down stairs back to our anniversary meal knowing I had nothing now…my wife took one look at me and asked what was wrong and I had to tell her…it broke my heart. A few days later they called me to offer me a 15% discount if I wanted to reorder…the same discount they offer online just for visiting their site! You can’t make up for a missed special occasion but their make good just added insult to injury. I will NEVER order flowers from them again for ANY reason. I have already found a local florist who is kind, honorable and most importantly dependable. I strongly suggest you do the same a stay as far away from this company as you can! It doesn’t matter how good the deal is if the company ultimately can’t deliver and 800 flower surely CANNOT.

READ BEFORE ORDERING!

LOOK ELSEWHERE for long distance flower delivery. 1-800-flowers.com is completely unreliable. This company DOES NOT use local florists to fulfill their Fresh flower Orders. I placed order to be delivered in 3 days. It has now been 5 days and customer service says 2 more days till delivery. Oh, and that could be as late as 8pm 7 days after placing order. Outrageous. I was offered a $20 "Flowers.com" gift card for my inconvience. How insulting can they be? Do you really have a hope or prayer that I would would order anything from this conglomerate? Ha! I could have upgraded to next day for 33% more but I could not find in the fine print that you could have 'fresh' flowers delayed for delivered by 7 days. Who knew 'fresh' was defined by "Flowers" as 2 or 3 weeks after they are picked. 'Cause I don't think they were 'picked' in Buffalo, NY.
Do yourself a favor, call another delivery service. I've used others that can be trusted. Any other service is better than "Flowers"
I will update this review to tell you how "fresh" the flowers are when delivered from Buffalo, NY to Nashville, TN. I live in PA. Go figure. You can thank me later. Ha

Can i give negative stars?

Can I give negative stars? I ordered a bouquet for my mother, to be delivered the Thursday before Mother's Day, to avoid the busy delivery times. I called her on Mother's Day and learned the delivery was not made. 1 800 Flowers did not tell me! I called them, spent 45 minutes on the phone to ask for a solution. They promised a delivery on the Tuesday after Mother's Day. They did not deliver! They did not tell me about their failure to deliver a second time. I called today (the Friday after Mother's Day) and they still had not delivered, and could not offer me a delivery either today or tomorrow. I finally cancelled the order, and asked for a refund. When I asked the amount of the refund, the figure named by the operator was not the same as the amount charged to my credit card. So now I wonder if I will get my full refund. The operator said it could take 5-7 days for the refund to appear. Because of their history of promising delivery, and doing nothing, I will have to wait and see. The operator told me I would receive a $20 coupon for my next order, for my inconvenience. What can you get for $20? I am unlikely to give them any more of my money. I do not reccomend this company. Stay away. The operators I spoke with were kind, and friendly, but were unable to actually do anything helpful- not even get the refund amount right.

Bad service

Order early for mother's day. Delivery date was two days before. No flowers
Call got a replacement for that day still no flowers. Called again was told they did not have that in stock. Asked for a new arrangement to come after mother's day still no flowers. Showed up the next day at 8:30 at night
Never got email for delivery. Or nothing. Flowers were ugly and cheap look bad
Will not be calling again

Horrible!

I will NEVER use this service again, Spent so much money and what was sent looked like leftover flowers shoved into a vase, nothing even close to what I ordered to be sent the first pic is what I orderd, the second pic is what was sent. Incredibly dissapointed... I would rate zero stars if it would let me i have proof of purchase, but it won't let me post a picture of the recipt

Totally DISAPPOINTED

I ordered the lavender medly for my sister in law in the hospital and it LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!!! Besides there being no lavender that I could see it was also WAY smaller than the pictures! I'm ABSOLUTELY disappointed and DISGUSTED THAT I payed almost $100 for this! Take my advice and DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! GO TO YOUR LOCAL FLORIST INSTEAD!

Unhappy customer

I recently ordered "Magnificent roses, Preserved Gold Kissed Roses" from 1800flowers.
They were for my daughter in law birthday and I even payed extra to get them delivered on time.
The flowers arrived one day late. I called 1-800 flowers customer service and they were totally unhelpful. They told me the only thing they can do for me was to give me $20 credit against the next purchase.
I refused such offer as I will never order form them again. It is the third order from them in the last three month that I was unhappy with.
We had to drive all the way to our son's home to deliver the flowers, that we wanted our daughter in law to get when they visited us for her to celebrate her birthday.
To make things even worth, when she opened the box, one of the rose heads was damaged.
On m y birthday (December 14th) both my son and my husband ordered flowers for me. My son ordered a bouquet and my husband ordered life orchids. The flowers in the bouquet lasted only one day, and the orchids were small and lasted less than the orchids we use to buy for Whole Foods or Costco, even though they were 8 times more expensive.
My husband ordered again roses for me for Valentine's and by evening the heads of the roses were already hanging.
1-800flowers in my opinion deserves 0 points, but the minimum rating available is 1, so I gave it a 1.

No delivery when scheduled after repeated calls, dismal customer service

I ordered flowers for delivery for the day prior to Valentine's Day. No flowers arrived so I called and was told they would contact the store. Still no flowers on Valentine's Day no text status messages, no email status follow up. Nothing. I called to cancel this morning. They offered to send them out, I said pointless as too late, they offered a reduced price and coupons for future, again pointless they then offered even more reduced price and coupons. Really! I'm going to trust you with another order... When you make a mistake own it and fix it. I understand things happen but if I were them I would be "very" sorry and give flowers for free to make up for the issue. That would be true customer service. Realize I placed two orders this weekend alone so should value customers more. Never again! I'll order directly from a local flower store next time. Follow on update- they called me and again offered a 20 dollar coupon and eventually to replace free of change (which at this point luckily I had already ordered from a local flower shop). I though OK so the recipient gets two bunches now- whatever. Well the replacement never arrived on the day scheduled so I called again the next day and after a heated discussion (sorry I was beyond frustrated at this point) flowers eventually arrived on Wednesday. On checking my credit card they still charged me 50%. Don't even bother with 1-800 flowers... not worth the disappointment or frustration. I will shop local from now on if at all possible. And in the unlikely event they are reading and want to fix this the tracking number is 234829199.

Do not use this company. Terrible service.

Ordered flowers for my mom's bday. Received a delivered email. Called mom all happy and she never got them. Tried to cancel my next order and no one responded. The lady trixie in their chat service closed my chat because I did not type the order number instead I sent a screen shot. Now no one will respond on the chat so
I then called internationally and the guys said I would get a refund that they were out of the flowers. No refund, no flowers, horrible customer service. Very very disappointed. Never got the cancelation email or even a response. I wish the owner would read thsi. He needs to know how the company y has went down hill. Last year everything was great. I will never try this company again. I will
Respond if they actually cancel my second order. However they are not even responding to the messages because I sent a screen shot with the order Number instead if typing it so I guess trixie was not able to click and she did not want to type from the screen shot order number so they closed my chat and never responded again. Note the picture said delivered. They were never delivered. And I never got a refund. No one will answer my messages again. They deserve -0 stars.

Horrible service

Ordered flowers for a birthday. They never arrived, called them and said they would resend and never did. They are now telling me there is no such address. If the P. O, Amazon and walmart deliveries can find it, I assume it is the correct address!
Now fighting with them to get the money back!
